Maura & Davey - Destination Wedding Photographer, Milwaukee Wedding Photographer | 8/20/10
Maura and I got engaged a few weeks ago, so our mini vacation to Charleston, South Carolina provided us the perfect opportunity to take our engagement pictures! Charleston is such a beautiful city, the unique buildings and landscape provide endless photography spots.
We covered the whole town, including checking out the historic district, Fort Moultrie, and the beach/ocean. For anyone who hasn't been to the Charleston area, I would highly recommend it. The whole area is lined with an endless amount of trees (including palms) and the people are so incredibly nice and cheerful.
Taking these pictures ourselves proved to be extremely challenging. I would set the camera up on the tripod, then use a wireless remote to take the photos. Id then have to run back to the camera to see if the shot came out, and if not we would try to take the same shot again and again. Yes it was frustrating, but in the end, turned out to be really fun!

Dylan & Addie - Milwaukee Child Photographer, Milwaukee Family Photographer | 8/12/10
We had to bring out all the tricks for brother and Sister Dylan and Addison. Of course, Dylan had to start by showing me his amazing helicopter flying skills and all the different kinds of animals on his SillyBandz. Addie is easily the more photogenic one of the two, and after getting by her initial nervousness, she was having so much fun!
After getting a few shots in our studio, we wanted to get some outside pictures. However, that was an absolute disaster as everyone was swarmed by mosquitos the moment we stepped out of the car. They were so bad!
So that left us with getting a bunch of shots in our studio with our different backgrounds and even incorporating the dogs. That took some work (see dog picture below) to get everyone coordinated, then we finally got the shot (2nd dog picture)! The capper was when we ended the shoot by bringing out the fan for Addie. Her hair blew in the wind just like a model! She had a blast with it!
Storm - Milwaukee Pet Photographer, Milwaukee Dog Photographer | 9/12/10
Storm is an adorable English Lab, full of energy and happiness. Shes definitely loves to grab whatever she can fit into her mouth, especially Mike's hand (as seen below). But shes so loving and will make the perfect family pet!
We had a great time and she really cooperated well for the shoot. Heres your preview of images. Enjoy!
